Born and raised in downtown Chicago, I was brought up alongside my brother by my single mother. My family is everything to me, and I always put them first. Currently, in my 22 years, I love fashion, eating cake, dancing and almost always have my nose in a book.

 

One of my greatest qualities is being a huge movie buff. I absolutely obsess over cinema and could happily spend the rest of my life writing about films, whether it be cinematography, plot or even dialogue analysis. Watching films is one of the times when I'm happiest.

Writing, to go along with the cliche, has been a craft since I was a young child. Writing in diaries, preferring papers over projects and practicing typing for fun were just a few of the ways I strengthened my bond and craft. While I've constantly practiced professional, technical and academic writing throughout my 4 years of college, I look forward to evoking more of my creative side and finding a wonderfully structured balance between the two.
